I'm Roslyn Rosales, and I started my journey as an Independent Insurance Broker in 2016. In the beginning, I worked part-time in the restaurant industry while offering Final Expense life insurance to elderly folks in my community.
Since 2019, I've been guiding clients through Medicare Open Enrollment and Special Enrollment Periods. In 2020, I started assisting those under the age of 65 with Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance. I now offer an array of insurance products.
My background in Social Work and Customer Service fuels my passion for helping people and solving problems. My work can be exhausting at times, but I truly love what I do because it lets me make a real difference in people's lives.
I'm a one-person, one-dog team with part-time assistance during my busy season in the fall and winter.
I've been in the insurance industry for several years, and my niche is offering Private Insurance. Private Insurance are policies owned and managed by you and are not tied to employer coverage.
My goal is to educate you to the point of being dangerously knowledgeable. The American Insurance System is confusing, complex, and riddled with obstacles. With the aid of my YouTube channel, I will help you confidently find the right coverage for you and your family.
I believe in full transparency. I've always wanted to grow my business with the vision of having a good work-life balance. During my 16 years in the restaurant industry, I worked myself to the point of burnout. I never want to feel burnt out with insurance because I own this business, and I love it too much. With this in mind, I will not take every case that comes my way. I may refer you to another agent-broker or encourage you to find one you trust. There will also be times when you'll need to consult with the Social Security Administration, your state health agency, a CPA, or an attorney. Since I am licensed only to offer insurance, I cannot give legal or tax advice.
If we decide to work together, know that I will never charge you for my services. The insurance companies pay me commissions so long as your policies remain active. Please do me a favor - avoid speaking with another agent or broker once we begin our partnership as this could lead to major conflicts or lapses in your coverage.
Ultimately, I strive to build long-lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
If you had Affordable Care Act (ACA)/Marketplace health insurance in 2024, you must file your taxes. Give your tax preparer form 1095A, which can be downloaded at your personal Healthcare.gov account.
Since Open Enrollment is over, you must have a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to enroll into a Marketplace plan for 2025.
You may also log into your personal Healthcare.gov account to download your form 1095A.
The amount of coverage you need will depends on your specific situation. The needs of someone with a family and children are different from those who are retiring and have an empty nest. Each plan is tailored specifically for you.
You can easily self-enroll into a dental & vision plan, but an appointment is required for the other types of insurance coverage.
Watch my YouTube videos, follow me on social media, and check back regularly. I will share insider tips, tricks, and secrets.
Visit the Client Enroll tab to schedule an appointment.
